About This Art

With tomatoes, scale decides whether the kitchen wakes up. Go too small and it disappears behind the kettle; go large and the wall finally has something to say.

Hang it and the room shifts from functional to lived-in. The red lifts cream cabinets, warms pale wood, and gives flat white walls a proper focal point without needing a shelf full of clutter.

It works best on a kitchen feature wall, above a console in a breakfast nook, or at the end of a galley where the eye needs somewhere to land.

Pair with open shelving, stoneware, linen tea towels, and oak or painted timber. Terracotta pots and a bit of greenery on the counter pick up the same warmth.

Don't crowd it with other busy patterns — tiled splashbacks plus this print plus a gallery wall is one thing too many. Let it be the loud one.

Stretched over a wooden frame and ready to hang straight out of the box.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Still not sure? Contact our team with a photo of your space and we'll tell you exactly what size will work.

What's your return policy?

If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.

We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.

Will the bright red clash with warm wood cabinets?

No — the red sits on a warm cream ground, so it reads warm rather than cold. It pairs well with oak, walnut and painted timber. The only kitchens it tends to fight with are cool greys and stark blue-whites, where the cream ground can look slightly mismatched.

Is this too busy for a small kitchen?

Only if the kitchen already has patterned tiles or wallpaper. In a small but plain kitchen — cream or white cabinets, plain walls — a medium-size print like this actually helps because it gives the eye one clear thing to land on instead of bouncing around.

Does the pattern repeat or is it a one-off composition?

It's a single composition, not a repeat pattern. The tomatoes are different sizes and angles, scattered across the cream ground with little dark marks and dots between them, so it reads as one painted illustration rather than wallpaper.
