About This Art

Hang this where the warm afternoon light hits and the soft pink sharpens. A meadow of pink and lilac wildflowers runs down to quiet water, with a dark tree holding the right edge and a big cloud-filled sky above.

In a room, it slows everything down. The painterly strokes give the wall texture without pattern, and the soft pinks lift the greens so nothing feels heavy. It reads as calm, not sweet.

It works best above a low piece of furniture in a bedroom, a hallway with daylight, or a quiet corner of a living room. Eye-level or just above suits it.

Pair with oak or pale ash, linen bedding, cream stoneware and a brass lamp. Chalky off-white or warm plaster walls bring out the colours best.

Don't crowd it with busy florals or strong graphic prints — this piece wants room to breathe. On canvas, the loose strokes feel even more like a painting on the wall.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Still not sure? Contact our team with a photo of your space and we'll tell you exactly what size will work.

What's your return policy?

If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.

We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.

Does the pink in the wildflowers read as bright or soft?

Soft. The pinks sit closer to a dusty coral than a hot pink, and they are broken up by lilac, deep greens and the cooler blue of the water. In a room, the overall feel is gentle and painterly rather than candy-bright, so it works against off-white, plaster and warm wood walls without shouting.

Will the dark tree on the right unbalance the wall?

It anchors the composition rather than pulling it. The dark green mass on the right is balanced by the open sky and water on the left, so the eye moves across the piece. Hang it centred above a piece of furniture and it sits steady; off-centre on a wider wall and the tree happily acts as the visual anchor.

Is the painterly texture obvious up close, or only from a distance?

Both. From across the room you read a meadow, water and clouds. Step closer and you see the chalky pastel strokes, the bare patches of warm paper showing through, and the loose marks in the grass and clouds. It rewards a second look, which is why it holds a wall well on its own.
