About This Art

You don't need more decor. You need one portrait with teeth. This one carries a room on its own — red stripes, deep green, a small flash of orange — and stops you needing to layer in much else.

The room shifts the moment it goes up. A quiet wall stops being polite and starts having an opinion. Pale woods warm up. Off-white paint reads softer. The orange becomes the thing your eye lands on first.

Hang it at eye level on a clean wall — a bedroom, dressing area, hallway or above a slim console. It needs breathing room around it more than it needs a big wall.

Pair it with linen, pale oak, rattan and one or two pieces of green or terracotta pottery. A simple oak or black frame keeps the focus on the brushwork.

Don't crowd it with other figurative prints or busy florals. One confident piece, one good chair, and you're done.

Printing, Paper and Frames

Quality you can see (and feel)
Printed using museum-grade giclée technology on thick, matte art paper - no glare, just soft, natural colour that looks beautiful.

The kind of detail and depth that makes people lean in closer. Hand-framed in solid FSC-certified wood. Never cheap MDF or plastic-y veneers.

Won't fade, even in direct sunlight
Premium acrylic glaze with UV blocking keeps colours vibrant for 100+ years. Hang it anywhere - bedroom, hallway, that sunny spot above the sofa - without worry.

Unbox, hang, done
Arrives framed with fixtures already attached. Two minutes with a hammer and your wall goes from blank to "where did you get that?"

Made responsiblyFSC-certified wood and paper. Water-based, vegan inks. Crafted to order, so there's zero waste and zero guilt.

How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Does the red read as bright postbox red or something warmer?

It's a warm coral-leaning red rather than a cool postbox red, so it sits comfortably next to terracotta, soft pink and warm woods. On an off-white wall it feels lively but not harsh, and it doesn't fight with cream linen or pale oak.

Will the red and green look too Christmassy in a living room?

Not really — the red is warm and the green is a deep, mossy tone, not bright pine. As long as you avoid gold baubles and red velvet cushions nearby, it reads as a modern fashion illustration year-round rather than a seasonal piece.

Does it work above a bed, or is it better elsewhere?

It works above a bed in a large size, especially with white or cream bedding so the figure has room to breathe. It also sits well above a slim console in a hallway or dressing area, where the vertical composition really earns its place.
