About This Art

No, the deep blue doesn't soften the room. It defines it. This painted cottage garden walks straight up the wall with hot pink, mustard yellow and tangled greens, and the blue door at the top of the path is the thing that holds it all in place.

A quiet hallway or entryway suddenly has a focal point. A neutral living room gets a jolt of colour without needing new cushions, new paint, or a rethink of the whole room.

Hang it where you walk past it daily — entryway, stair landing, hallway, or the bit of wall behind a console. It carries enough detail to reward a close look and enough impact to read from across the room.

Pair with oak, rattan, painted wood, terracotta pots and warm lamp light. Stoneware in soft pink or mustard echoes the palette without copying it.

Don't bury it next to other busy florals — give it air. The stretched canvas reads as a painting on the wall, which suits the loose brushwork.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Still not sure? Contact our team with a photo of your space and we'll tell you exactly what size will work.

What's your return policy?

If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.

We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.

Is this calm enough for a bedroom?

Probably not. The colour is loud and the composition is busy — it pulls focus rather than settling it. It's much happier in a hallway, entryway, stairwell or a living room that needs a wake-up. If you want the same garden mood somewhere restful, look for a quieter botanical study instead.

Will it overpower a small hallway?

It can hold a small hallway easily, but go for the large size rather than statement, and leave plenty of bare wall around it. With warm wood, a single console and one lamp, it becomes the thing you see when you walk in — which is the point.

What wall colour works best behind it?

Pale chalky off-white, warm cream or soft plaster pink all work. The print already carries the colour story, so the wall should stay quiet. Avoid grey — it dulls the pinks. Avoid strong patterned wallpaper — they'll fight each other.
