Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

On a clean white wall the yellow reads as warm and cheerful rather than glaring. The off-white background in the painting itself softens the edge between art and wall, so it doesn't shout. If your wall is cool grey or very stark, an oak or white frame helps it sit more naturally.

Kitchens and breakfast nooks are the obvious home, especially above a counter or small dining table. It also works in a sunny entryway or a corner of a living room that needs lifting. Avoid pairing it with strong reds or oranges nearby — the yellow wants to be the warmest thing in the room.

It reads as a soft grey with cool undertones, painted loosely so it doesn't compete with the lemons. That grey is what stops the yellow from feeling sugary, and it gives you something to pick up in linen, stoneware or a cool wall paint.
