About This Art

Call it calm if you want; we call it better walls. A hand-drawn Tokyo skyline that swaps neon and noise for soft towers, low temples and gentle trees.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

What's your return policy?

If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.

Is the Tokyo Tower and the city skyline clearly recognisable, or is it very abstract?

It sits in the middle. The Tokyo Tower, the torii gate, the temples and the skyscrapers are all clearly drawn and recognisable, but the style is soft and illustrated rather than photographic. You can tell each building apart up close, and from across the room it reads as a gentle Tokyo skyline rather than a detailed map.

Does the pale background look washed out on a white wall?

It's intentionally pale, so on a bright white wall the off-white can blend at the edges. A warm off-white, soft grey, or pale plaster wall gives it the most lift. If your wall is very bright white, an oak or black frame adds a clean edge and stops it floating.

Will the small TOKYO Japan title at the bottom read from across the room?

Up close it reads clearly — a printed serif TOKYO with a handwritten Japan beneath. From a few metres away the lettering softens into a small mark at the base rather than shouting the name, which is part of why the print feels calmer than a typical travel poster.
