Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

It reads richer than it does heavy. Around a third of the image is cream border and pale highlights on the lily pads, so the overall weight is balanced. In a small hallway with a pale wall, it adds depth without closing the space in — most rooms gain a focal point rather than losing light.

The 'Kew Gardens' headline stays legible down to medium sizes. The smaller line — District Line, Kew Gardens Station, TW9 3AB — is designed to be readable up close rather than from across the room, which is part of the travel-poster character.

It actually rewards them. The greens in the print sit in the same family as most houseplant foliage, so a fern, monstera or olive tree nearby pulls the room together rather than competing. Avoid placing it directly behind a very large, very green plant — give it its own bit of wall.
