Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

They can look pale on stark white. A warm brown or dark frame gives the greys something to push against, and a slightly off-white, chalky or clay-toned wall lets the shadows and leaf shapes read more clearly. On a very bright modern white wall, hang it near a lamp or timber furniture to add warmth around it.

It's calmer than it looks. The loose brushwork and quiet grey palette actually sit well in pared-back modern rooms, especially alongside linen, pale timber and stoneware. It reads as a considered antique rather than a fussy heirloom, so it works in Japandi, organic-modern and transitional interiors as easily as in a country cottage.

No. It's strong enough to hang solo above a console or small sideboard. If you do pair it, keep companions quiet: pencil sketches, sepia studies, small botanicals or an old map. Avoid bright colour or graphic modern posters next to it, as they'll flatten the soft washes.
