Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

It depends on your walls. Against warm white, pale pink or a soft neutral, the colours read as cheerful rather than overwhelming. On a strong feature wall — deep green, navy or another saturated tone — it can fight for attention. If your room is small and already colourful, hang it solo rather than as part of a cluster.

Hang it away from direct steam and splashes — beside open shelving, above a breakfast table, or on a wall opposite the hob rather than directly above it. Framed under premium acrylic glazing it copes better with normal kitchen humidity than an unframed print pinned to a wall.

A medium portrait usually lands best above standard sideboards and consoles — around two-thirds the width of the furniture, hung roughly 20–30cm above the top. If your sideboard is long, lean towards the large size or pair the print with one or two smaller pieces to fill the wall.
