Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

The numbered key sits at the bottom in small text, so you'll need to be within about a metre to read it comfortably. From further back the print reads as a warm, mannered grid of ten plates — which is most of the charm. If the labels matter to you, go medium rather than small, and hang it where people pass close.

The background is a warm aged cream, so against a crisp brilliant-white wall it will read slightly butter-toned. On off-white, plaster, or painted walls it disappears into the wall colour and lets the red salads do the work. If your kitchen is pure white, an oak or black frame helps tie it in.

It leans vintage, but the cream ground and orderly grid keep it from feeling fussy. In a modern kitchen with painted cabinets, open shelves or a wood worktop, it adds warmth without going full farmhouse. In a fully minimal, handleless, all-grey kitchen it will feel like a deliberate, slightly nostalgic note — which can be charming or jarring depending on taste.
