About This Art

Call it tender if you want; we call it better walls. A William Morris-style leopard portrait, mother and cub close together, with soft pink camellias and deep green leaves drawn around them.

Hung up, the room softens. The dark background pulls everything inwards, the warm spotted fur catches the eye, and the pale flowers lift the whole wall without going sweet. It feels considered rather than busy.

It earns its place above a sofa, a sideboard or a bed — anywhere you want a clear focal point. Best at eye level on a wall that can hold a single, confident piece.

Pair it with warm oak or walnut, brass details, linen or velvet upholstery, and stoneware in earthy tones. Deep green or chalky off-white walls flatter it most.

Don't crowd it with other strong florals or another big animal print — it wants room to be the one thing you notice. Stretched over a wooden frame and ready to hang straight from the box.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Still not sure? Contact our team with a photo of your space and we'll tell you exactly what size will work.

What's your return policy?

If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.

We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.

Is the dark background going to feel heavy in a smaller room?

The dark green and near-black are balanced by the pale pink camellias and the cream poster border, so it reads warm rather than weighty. In a smaller room, hang it slightly lower than usual and keep the surrounding wall clear — it then acts as a quiet focal point rather than closing the space in.

Does the poster text read clearly, or is it just decorative?

The typography is fully legible: 'William Morris' across the top, 'Arts & Crafts Pioneer', 'Nearest Underground Station South Kensington', and the exhibition dates beneath. It's designed as a proper exhibition poster, so up close the text is part of the appeal, not blurred background detail.

Will this clash with existing floral cushions or curtains?

It can, if those florals are also large and pink-heavy. The print already carries the floral weight, so pair it with plainer textiles — linen, velvet, stoneware tones — and keep patterned soft furnishings smaller in scale or in deeper greens and warm browns instead.
