How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Is the background a clean flat beige or does it have texture?

It reads as a warm, soft beige with a very subtle photographic texture — not pure flat colour, but close. There's a soft shadow under the leaf and twig that gives a little depth, so it sits comfortably on cream, oat or warm white walls without looking like a cut-out.

Will the warm browns clash with a cool grey room?

Honestly, yes — it's a warm-toned piece and works best in rooms with at least some warmth: cream walls, oak or walnut furniture, linen or jute. In a cool grey scheme it'll feel a bit isolated. If your room leans cool, look for a piece in soft greys or washed blues instead.

Does it work as a pair, or only on its own?

Both. It holds a wall solo at medium size, which is its sweet spot. As a pair, hang it with another quiet botanical in similar warm tones — a dried stem, a single seed pod, or a soft leaf study. Keep the second piece equally restrained so neither dominates.
