How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Is the text actually legible from across the room?

Yes — the lettering is hand-drawn but bold, and the high contrast of black on white reads cleanly from a couple of metres away. At medium size it works above a drinks trolley or beside a basin without anyone having to squint.

Will it look out of place in a smart, grown-up kitchen?

Not really. The simple black-on-white look keeps it from feeling novelty-shop. Framed in black against an off-white or dark painted wall it reads as deliberate humour rather than student-flat decor, especially next to good glassware and timber.

Is this too cheeky for guests to see in the loo?

It's tongue-in-cheek rather than crude — a five-star review joke, not an off-colour one. Most guests laugh. If your downstairs loo is the main one used by older relatives or small children, you'll know your crowd better than we do.
