About This Art

Nothing in this soft pastel palette whispers, even when the nursery does. A baby giraffe shares a bubble bath with a yellow rubber duck, painted in gentle watercolour against a clean white background.

It warms up a nursery wall without shouting. The soft blue tub and warm yellow duck add just enough colour to keep a quiet, neutral room feeling lived-in and cheerful.

Hang it above a changing table, beside a cot, or on the wall facing the rocking chair so the baby can see it during feeds. Eye-level for grown-ups standing, slightly lower if the chair is the main spot.

Works beautifully with pale oak furniture, cream linen, soft cotton rugs and woven baskets. A white or oak frame keeps the mood light and airy.

Avoid pairing with loud primary-colour prints or anything heavily themed — this one carries the room on its own, with maybe one or two quiet companions. Printed on premium fine-art paper for a soft, painterly finish.

How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Is the palette soft enough for a small, calm nursery?

Yes. The background is almost entirely soft cream and white, with just the blue tub and yellow duck adding gentle colour. It reads as a quiet, warm focal point rather than a bright graphic, so it sits easily in a neutral nursery without dominating the room.

Can the baby actually see it from the cot or changing table?

The giraffe's face and the yellow duck give the eye two clear points to land on, which young babies tend to track. Hung facing the cot or rocking chair at around 1.5 to 2 metres away, it works well as something gentle for them to look at during feeds.

Will it still suit the room once the baby is a toddler?

It carries through nicely into the toddler years — the bathtime scene becomes something a small child can name and point to. Past around age five, you may want to move it to a family bathroom or pass it on, as the tone is firmly nursery-sweet.
