About This Art

From the doorway, the vertical reads clean. Up close, not polite — you start to pick out the boats, the cliff edges, the tiny figures rowing in the shadow of the rock.

A room with this on the wall feels a touch cooler and calmer. The pale sky opens out the space, the deep blue water gives it weight, and the warm cliffs stop the whole thing feeling cold.

How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Is the writing on the print part of the image, or can I get it without the text?

The 'CAPRI' title and 'Blue Grotto' script are part of the design and stay on every size. They're styled like a modern travel poster, sitting at the top of the sky area, and read as part of the artwork rather than a heavy caption.

Will the cool blues feel cold in a north-facing room?

Less than you'd expect. The warm cliff tones — sandy beige and a touch of terracotta brown down the right side — balance out the blues, so the print holds its warmth even in cooler daylight. Pair it with light oak or a warm rug and the room stays inviting.

Does the composition lean to one side?

Yes — the cliffs and village sit on the right, with open sea on the left. It's worth knowing if you're hanging it next to a door or window: place it so the heavy right side faces into the room, not into a corner, otherwise the balance feels off.
