How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the mustard yellow background clash with a coloured kitchen?

It depends on the colour. Mustard yellow sits comfortably next to off-white, pale grey, soft sage, oak and most natural timbers. It can fight terracotta tiles, deep red cabinets or strong orange walls, so if your kitchen already leans warm and saturated, test it against your existing tones first.

Is the artwork too busy for a small kitchen?

No. The composition is flat and graphic with only four main colour blocks, so it reads as one clean shape from across the room. In a small kitchen it actually helps — one strong piece is calmer than several smaller prints competing for attention above the counter.

Does it work outside the kitchen?

Yes. It also suits breakfast nooks, dining rooms and even an entryway if you want a playful welcome. It's less suited to bedrooms or living rooms where the food subject feels out of place, unless you're leaning into a deliberately quirky, food-led look.
