In the 1950s, this would have felt radical. It still does. The whole picture is one wandering black line that finds two people holding each other, then lets go. How do I frame an art print?

  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Is the embrace easy to read, or does it look more abstract?

It sits between the two. From across a room you can clearly see two figures holding each other; closer up the line dissolves into loops and curves. That's the appeal — it suggests the feeling rather than spelling it out, so it stays interesting on the wall over time.

Will it look lost on a large bedroom wall?

It can if you go too small. On a wide wall, choose the larger size and centre it above the headboard or a piece of low furniture. The empty space around it is part of the picture, so leave a generous margin on either side rather than filling the wall with other things.

Does it work with warm wood and beige rooms, or only cool palettes?

Both, easily. The drawing is pure black on near-white, so it sits naturally against oak, ash, warm plaster and beige linen as well as cooler stone or grey schemes. It tends to look warmer with oak and a black frame, cooler with white walls and a white or black mount.
