How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

How big does the cat actually read on the wall?

The cat is the single darkest shape and sits roughly centre-low in the picture, so it reads clearly from across the room even at a medium size. At larger sizes it becomes a proper anchor; at small sizes the surrounding leaves and roses start to take over and the cat reads more as one element among many.

Will the orange roses clash with a warm-pink or red room?

The orange here is soft and slightly muted rather than bright, so it sits comfortably next to terracotta, rust, warm cream and dusty pink. It can feel busy next to a strong cherry red or hot pink, where the two warm tones start to compete. Cooler pinks and blush tones tend to work better.

Does the painterly style hold up at larger sizes?

Yes — the brushwork is loose by design, so a larger print reads as intentional painterly texture rather than blur. Up close you see the strokes in the leaves and the rose centres; from a few steps back the shapes settle and the cat takes the eye. It's built to be lived with, not studied from 30cm away.
