How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the soft pink read as feminine in a shared room?

It's a very small amount of soft pink against sage green, cream and deep forest, so it reads as a warm accent rather than a pink piece. In a shared living room or bedroom it sits as part of an earthy palette, not as a colour statement on its own.

Is this calm enough to hang above a bed?

Yes. The composition has movement but the palette is muted and the dark passages are anchored low and right, so it doesn't crowd the headboard. Hang at a comfortable standing eye-level above a low bedframe and it settles the wall rather than activating it.

Does it work alongside other artwork or is it better on its own?

Both work, but pick companions carefully. A second painterly piece in the same sage-cream range, or a quiet botanical study, sits well next to it. Avoid high-contrast graphic prints or saturated colour — they'll fight the brushwork rather than support it.
