How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Is the red bright enough to clash with warm pinks or terracotta walls?

Yes. The red is a sharp, clean red against bright blue, so it tends to fight softer warm pinks, dusty terracottas and muted corals. It works better on plain white, pale blue, soft green or strong dark painted walls where it can stand on its own.

Will this look too childish for an adult bathroom or hallway?

The rubber duck is small and reads more as a wink than a children's motif. The overall feel is graphic and design-led rather than nursery-soft, so it works in an adult downstairs loo or hallway as easily as a kids' bathroom.

Does the dark green at the top make it feel heavy?

Not really. The dark green sits at the top as foliage reflections, which gives the print weight where it needs it and lets the bright blue carry the lower half. It actually helps the print feel grounded rather than floaty on a wall.
