How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the deep green stripes feel heavy on a small wall?

No — the off-white background takes up most of the image, so the print reads as light overall. The green stripes give shape and rhythm rather than weight, which is why it sits well in narrower hallways and smaller bedrooms without crowding the room.

Does the figure face left or right?

The figure faces to the viewer's left, with her body angled slightly across the page. That means it pulls the eye leftward, so it works best when there is room to its left — for example, hung slightly off-centre on a wall, or with open space on that side rather than a door or corner.

How small are the pink and orange notes — are they obvious in the room?

They're small but deliberate. The pink cheek and bloom sit near the top, and the orange sits lower on the dress. From a few steps back you read them clearly as two warm anchor points, which makes it easy to echo with one cushion, ceramic or textile in the room.
