How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Does the wording 'Modernist Living' and 'The Art of Living' appear on the print itself?

Yes — the print includes the headline 'Modernist Living' across the top and a small caption 'Avant-Garde Art / The Art of Living' beneath the illustration. It's part of the poster design, not removable. If you'd prefer a clean image with no text, this isn't the one.

Is the orange too strong for a small room?

It is a confident, warm orange — it will pull the temperature of the room up. In a small space, give it a plain warm-white wall and avoid stacking other strong colours nearby. In a north-facing room it actually helps; in an already-warm yellow room it can tip too hot.

Will this work in a room that's mostly cool greys and blues?

Honestly, not its best home. The print is built on terracotta, mustard and warm wood — a cool grey-blue scheme will fight it rather than frame it. It's much happier in rooms with warm whites, oak, rattan, linen or any existing rust or mustard accents.
