How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the bright primary colours feel too much in a small kids' room?

The composition is actually very calm — most of the print is flat sky blue, with the balloon taking up roughly the middle third. The strong colours are concentrated rather than spread out, so it reads as one cheerful focal point rather than a busy wall.

Is it suitable for a baby's nursery as well as an older child's room?

Yes. The shapes are simple enough to engage a baby and the palette stays relevant as the child grows — it doesn't read as 'toddler only'. Many parents use it from nursery through to primary-school age without it feeling outgrown.

Does the balloon sit in the centre or off to one side?

The balloon is roughly centred horizontally and sits in the upper two-thirds of the frame, with the yellow and green hills along the bottom edge. That means it hangs well as a single centred piece above a console, shelf or low bed.
