How do I frame an art print?

  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Will the blues and orange clash with a cream or sage kitchen?

No — that's the sweet spot. The soft sea blue and olive sit comfortably against cream and sage, while the mustard and orange flashes give a quiet kitchen a lift. Avoid only if your kitchen already runs hot with red tile or strong patterned wallpaper.

Is the brushwork actually textured or flat-printed?

The painting is rendered in thick, loose oil-style brushwork in the original. The print reproduces the look of those strokes faithfully — you'll see the marks and direction of the paint — but the surface itself is smooth fine-art paper, not raised paint.

Does it work in a portrait shape on a narrow wall?

Yes — that's its natural home. The vertical stack of fish suits a tall narrow stretch: between two cupboards, beside a doorway, or above a slim console in a galley kitchen or dining nook. Hang slightly lower than standard eye-level so the eyes meet you.
