How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the peach background clash with cool grey walls?

Honestly, yes — the warm peach really wants warm company. On a cool grey or slate wall the print can look like it's floating in the wrong room. It's at its best on cream, off-white, plaster or warm white walls, or anywhere with oak and terracotta nearby.

Is this better above a sofa or in a hallway?

Both work. Above a sofa or sideboard it leads the wall and warms up the seating area. In a hallway it pulls the eye down the corridor and gives a narrow space a focal point. The composition is portrait, so it suits taller, narrower walls especially well.

Does the green read very dark, or is it more olive?

It's a deep, mossy green — more grounded than bright, but not nearly as dark as forest or bottle green. Against the peach it reads bold and warm rather than heavy, so the overall feeling is sunny and confident, not moody.
