How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Will the dark background look too heavy in a small room?

It can actually help. The cream border gives the wall breathing space, so the dark centre reads as a focal point rather than a wall of black. In smaller rooms, hang it at eye level on a paler wall and keep nearby furniture in lighter timber or linen to balance it out.

Is the exhibition text part of the artwork or can it be removed?
