How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the dark background look too heavy in a small room?

It reads bolder than it looks on screen, but the cream poster border around the image gives the eye a rest. In a small room, hang it on a single uncluttered wall with warm lamplight nearby and it will feel grounding rather than oppressive.

Are the leopards looking straight at you, or off to the side?

Both face forward. The mother's gaze is direct and centred, while the cub looks slightly off-centre to the right. That means the print pulls attention to the middle of the wall, so centre it carefully above furniture rather than off to one side.

Does the poster text read clearly from across the room?

The William Morris title at the top and the South Kensington line at the bottom are bold enough to read from a few metres away. The smaller admission and opening-hours line is intentionally fine — meant to be noticed up close, not shouted across the room.
