Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

The background is a deep purple but the half-circles and discs are a bright violet, so the print reads as a confident colour block rather than a heavy dark piece. On a pale wall it lifts a small space rather than closing it in. If the wall is already a strong colour, give it 40cm of clear space either side so the shapes can breathe.

Both. Walnut and dark wood pick up the depth of the purple and feel grown-up, while black metal and chrome lean into the graphic, modernist side. The piece to avoid is anything fussy or carved — keep nearby furniture clean-lined so the geometry stays the loudest thing in the room.

The shapes are big and high-contrast, so they read clearly from across a room. The 'Bauhaus' and 'Ausstellung – July 19, 1923' typography is smaller and rewards a closer look — handy if you want a piece that has something to notice when guests step in for a proper look.
