About This Art

Even the plaster in here starts looking expensive next to hot pink. The print is loud in the best way — stacked half-circles and full circles in two pinks on a deep magenta ground, with the word BAUHAUS marching across the top. Hang it and the room stops apologising for itself. Plain walls suddenly look intentional, black furniture reads sharper, and any cream or oat tones in the room warm up against the pink. It does best on a clean wall with breathing room around it — a studio, a creative office, the long stretch of a hallway. Pair it with simple modern furniture, tubular steel, chrome, smoked glass, or pale oak. Skip the busy florals, the soft pastels, and anything else fighting for attention on the same wall. This one wants to be the loudest thing in the room. Stretched over a wooden frame, ready to hang straight from the box.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

What's your return policy?

If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.

We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.

Will the hot pink read as too much in a small room?

It will read as bold in any room, but a small room actually suits it — the colour wraps the space rather than competing with lots of other furniture. Keep the rest of the room calm: plain walls, simple furniture, and one or two neutral textures like pale oak or cream bouclé.

Does the poster include the German text at the bottom?

Yes. BAUHAUS sits across the top in a clean serif, and Ausstellung – July 19, 1923 runs along the bottom in a smaller line. Both are in the same soft off-white as the typography area, so they read clearly but don't shout over the shapes.

Is this better in portrait orientation above a desk or in a hallway?

Both work. Above a desk it gives you a strong vertical anchor and reads at eye level when you're seated. At the end of a hallway it pulls you down the corridor and makes the whole stretch feel intentional. Either way, give it a clear wall — no other art crowding it.
