Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

It will lead the room, and that is the point. The blue is a true mid-tone, so it reads as colour rather than darkness. Keep the walls off-white or pale, keep upholstery plain, and let the print supply the colour. If your sofa is already patterned or brightly coloured, hang it on a facing wall instead.

Go larger than feels safe. The shapes are big and flat, so small sizes crowd them and lose the space between forms. Aim for a large or statement size on a wall at least 70cm wide, hung with clear space either side. Above a sideboard or a desk it wants to be the tallest thing on the wall.

Yes, and that is one of its best settings. Oak, cane and linen calm the colour down, while the blue and pink stop a neutral room feeling flat. Keep other accessories quiet, stick to one or two colours in cushions, and let the print handle the rest.
