About This Art

Here's the trick: let the botanical landscape cut through all that linen. The near-black ground and dark greens give a soft, neutral room something to push against, while the pale yellow sky keeps it from going gloomy. Hang it where you sit and read — a quiet snug, a hallway, a study above the desk. It pairs well with dark oak, tweed, aged leather and chunky ceramics, and it lifts a room painted in deep green or warm clay rather than fighting it. Don't stack it next to other busy florals or heavy gilt frames; this one wants a bit of breathing space around it. The fine-art paper holds the detailed line work cleanly and looks crisp behind glazing.

Printing, Paper and Frames

Quality you can see (and feel)
Printed using museum-grade giclée technology on thick, matte art paper - no glare, just soft, natural colour that looks beautiful.

The kind of detail and depth that makes people lean in closer. Hand-framed in solid FSC-certified wood. Never cheap MDF or plastic-y veneers.

Won't fade, even in direct sunlight
Premium acrylic glaze with UV blocking keeps colours vibrant for 100+ years. Hang it anywhere - bedroom, hallway, that sunny spot above the sofa - without worry.

Unbox, hang, done
Arrives framed with fixtures already attached. Two minutes with a hammer and your wall goes from blank to "where did you get that?"

Made responsiblyFSC-certified wood and paper. Water-based, vegan inks. Crafted to order, so there's zero waste and zero guilt.

The Van Gogh print arrived in perfect condition and looks beautiful

The Van Gogh print arrived in perfect condition and looks beautiful. I had just returned from a visit to the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam and wanted to get a print, but didn't want to carry it on the plane. This framed print that I ordered is just perfect!

How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Is the yellow in the sky bright or muted?

It's a soft, buttery pale yellow — closer to old paper than lemon. It reads as a calm light source behind the foliage rather than a bright pop of colour, so it sits comfortably against deep green, clay or off-white walls without feeling loud.

Will the near-black background feel heavy in a small room?

Less than you'd think. The pale sky and the lighter mid-greens give the eye somewhere to rest, so it anchors a small room rather than swallowing it. It works particularly well in narrow hallways and snugs where you actually want the walls to feel enclosing.

Does the composition lean to one side?

No — it's a balanced, almost symmetrical arched composition. The hills inside the arch drift gently to the right, but the dense foliage frames the view evenly on both sides, so it hangs centred above a desk, console or sofa without looking off-kilter.
