Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

It's a warm, muted red rather than a bright one, so it tends to wrap a small room rather than shrink it. In a snug study or narrow hallway, it actually reads as a focal point against plaster or soft pink walls. If your room is already deep red, this isn't the piece — give it a calmer wall to sit on.

The gaze is slightly off — eyes set under the hat brim, looking out and just past you. It gives the portrait presence without feeling confrontational, which is why it works above a sideboard or in a hallway where you pass it daily. It holds attention but doesn't demand it.

Solo. The figure is large, patterned and self-contained — it carries a wall on its own and tends to fight any companion piece. If you want to bring in another artwork nearby, keep it small, quiet, and at least a metre away on a different wall.
