Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

It softens rather than disappears. On a true bright white the cream and warm green pick up most of the visual weight, and the reflections stay readable. If you want more contrast, a pale oak or warm off-white wall behind it gives the blues more to push against.

The main sail sits roughly centre-left, with the village and trees balancing the right. The reflections drop straight down the lower half, so the eye reads top-to-bottom as much as left-to-right. It hangs well solo and doesn't need a partner print to feel balanced.

Yes. The brushwork is loose but the palette is quiet — soft blue, cream and warm green — so it reads as restful rather than active. Above a low headboard with linen bedding and a single bedside lamp, it settles in easily and doesn't fight the room at bedtime.
