About This Art

Start with the deep blue; it'll wake every terracotta around it. The soft peach and warm brown patches do the quieter work, tying the blue back to timber, clay and warm plaster. Hung up, a flat wall gains depth and a bit of movement without the room feeling loud. It sits well above a sofa, on a bedroom wall beside the bed, or at the end of a hallway where you want something to walk towards. Pair it with pale linen, cane, mid-brown wood and stoneware in cream or clay. Keep patterned wallpaper and busy cushions away from it, and don't crowd it with lots of small frames — this one needs clear wall on either side to breathe. Printed as canvas, stretched over a wooden frame and ready to hang.

Overpriced for the quality and materials used

For the cost, I was disapointed. If I had known the frame was some sort of plastic composite and not real wood, I would not have ordered. Also, the painting itself looked much better online than in real life. The colors are not as rich, and the overall painting does not have the depth I thought. For a forest, it feels too light rather than light-filled. Maybe I'm being too picky, but I expected more for what I paid.

Beautiful

Stunningly beautiful. This is 1 of 3 prints I ordered (see other reviews), the colours are vibrant and the quality is excellent. Now about the order another print.

Stunning

Absolutely stunning, I ordered 3 prints and have hung 2 in my lounge and 1 in my kitchen and can honestly say they have transformed the rooms. My sister loved them so much she ordered one of them and now has it pride of place. I'm about to order another one for my bedroom because they are so beautiful.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Still not sure? Contact our team with a photo of your space and we'll tell you exactly what size will work.

What's your return policy?

If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.

We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.

Is the blue closer to navy or a brighter blue?

It sits between the two. The deepest areas read as a strong, slightly greyed navy, while the mid-tones are a softer, dustier blue. Against an off-white wall it looks rich rather than bright, and it holds up in dim north-facing rooms where a lighter blue would flatten out.

Will it work in a room with terracotta or warm wood?

Yes, that's where it's strongest. The peach and warm brown patches echo clay and timber, so the blue reads as a deliberate contrast rather than a clash. Mid-brown wood, cane, terracotta pots and cream stoneware all pick up the warm side of the palette without competing with the blue.

Does the texture still show at smaller sizes?

The thick paint marks and the torn, uneven edge are part of the composition, and they read best from about 1.5 metres away at a large size. At smaller sizes the surface detail softens and the piece reads more as blocks of blue and peach, which still works as an accent on a narrow wall.
