About This Art

Some still life prints match a room. This one resets its pecking order. The bright blue wall and mustard yellow cloth do the talking, so everything around them starts to look like the supporting cast. Put it up and a plain dining room suddenly has a focal point and a reason to sit down. It earns its keep above a sideboard, on a kitchen feature wall, or at the end of a long dining table where people can actually look at it. Pair it with painted chairs, blue-and-white china, linen and stoneware in warm tones. Don't crowd it with other loud colour pieces, and skip busy wallpaper on the same wall. Printed on premium fine-art paper, with optional real wood framing.

Printing, Paper and Frames

Quality you can see (and feel)
Printed using museum-grade giclée technology on thick, matte art paper - no glare, just soft, natural colour that looks beautiful.

The kind of detail and depth that makes people lean in closer. Hand-framed in solid FSC-certified wood. Never cheap MDF or plastic-y veneers.

Won't fade, even in direct sunlight
Premium acrylic glaze with UV blocking keeps colours vibrant for 100+ years. Hang it anywhere - bedroom, hallway, that sunny spot above the sofa - without worry.

Unbox, hang, done
Arrives framed with fixtures already attached. Two minutes with a hammer and your wall goes from blank to "where did you get that?"

Made responsibly
FSC-certified wood and paper. Water-based, vegan inks. Crafted to order, so there's zero waste and zero guilt.

How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will this look too busy above a dining table that is already set?

It reads as one strong block of blue and yellow from a normal viewing distance, so the small details settle down. Keep your own table dressing simple: plain plates, one jug of flowers, clear glass. If you like a heavily layered table, hang it on a side wall or above a sideboard instead of directly behind the setting.

What wall colour works best behind it?

Plain off-white, warm white or a soft cream lets the bright blue background do the work. Pale pink and light grey are also fine. Avoid hanging it on deep green, dark blue or terracotta walls, and avoid patterned wallpaper on the same wall, as both compete with the flat colour blocks in the picture.

Does it work in a kitchen rather than a dining room?

Yes, kitchens suit it well. The food and wine subject fits the room, and the yellow picks up wooden worktops and rattan. Keep it away from splashes and steam, so above a sideboard, dresser or breakfast nook wall rather than directly behind a hob or sink.
