About This Art

Give this the sofa. A long three-seater leaves a wide strip of empty wall above it, and most pictures sit there looking lost. At 120cm across, the treeline fills that strip edge to edge and the whole seating wall settles. Hang it low, a hand's width above the back cushions, so the trees seem to grow out of the sofa rather than float above it. Dark green does the anchoring. Oat does the resting, and it sits happily against almost any pale wall you already have. Linen upholstery in stone or rust underneath, one wool throw, nothing patterned on the cushions. Skip the console or sideboard for this one. Those want something taller. The sofa wants width, and this has it. On canvas the painted texture reads without glazing, which suits a room lit by low lamps in the evening.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Still not sure? Contact our team with a photo of your space and we'll tell you exactly what size will work.

What's your return policy?

If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.

We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.

Will the dark green look heavy in a small living room?

Less than you would expect. Nearly half the picture is pale oat, so the trees sit on a light ground that keeps the wall open. In a small room hang it at medium size above the sofa and leave the rest of the wall empty. The green then reads as one calm block rather than a dark mass, and pale walls around it stay bright.

Does it read as Christmas art or can I leave it up all year?

Leave it up. There is no snow, no lights and no red, just a row of evergreens on a warm ground, so it reads as woodland rather than festive. In December it suits the season without any effort, and in summer it simply looks like trees. Buyers who want a seasonal swap usually keep this one up and change the cushions instead.

What size should I choose for above a king-size bed?

Aim for the width of the mattress or slightly less, which on a UK king means around 120 to 150cm across. The 2:1 shape stays low, so it sits above the headboard without climbing towards the ceiling. Hang the bottom edge a hand's width above the headboard and the trees line up with the pillows, which is where the eye rests.
