Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

It usually settles in nicely. The pink here is warm and chalky rather than candy-bright, so it sits comfortably next to warm whites, cream cabinets and oak. If your whites are very cool and blue-toned, hold the print up first — the pink will read a touch warmer against cool walls.

It leans casual and characterful rather than formal. In a traditional dining room with heavy timber and gilt frames it can feel out of place. It sits much better in a relaxed dining nook, breakfast room or kitchen-diner where blue-and-white china, painted furniture or rattan are already in the mix.

Aim for a piece roughly two-thirds the width of the furniture below, hung with its base about 20–25cm above the surface. The portrait shape works well as a single medium piece, or you can pair it with a second food illustration of similar scale for a small two-piece arrangement.
