Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

The original painting uses metallic gold paint that catches the light. In print form the gold is reproduced as warm yellow-gold tones — it reads as gold visually, especially under lamplight, but it doesn't physically shimmer the way real metallic paint does.

No — they tend to flatter each other. Warm walls (cream, soft peach, terracotta, even a deep red) sit comfortably with this palette because they're all in the same warm family. Cool grey or blue-grey walls are where you'd run into trouble.

Both. It's playful enough for a child's bedroom and graphic enough for an adult dressing room or hallway. The folk-art horseshoe and hearts read as cheerful rather than babyish, so it tends to grow with the room rather than getting outgrown.
