Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

It reads as moody rather than heavy, especially in warm lamp light. In a small study or snug it actually feels cocooning rather than gloomy. If your room is very low-lit by day, hang it where a lamp or sconce can catch it in the evening — the hazy sky comes alive with a bit of warm light on it.

Deep green, navy, ink blue, warm clay and chalky off-white all flatter it. The warm cream border helps it sit on darker walls without disappearing, while the slate sky stops it looking too sweet on paler walls. Avoid cool brilliant white and breezy coastal blues — they fight the warm brown undertones.

Yes, especially in a calmer bedroom with warm wood, linen bedding and a single bedside lamp on each side. The portrait shape sits naturally above a standard headboard. Centre it on the bed and leave the rest of the wall fairly clear so the tall poplar can do the work.
