Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

It's bold but the print is mostly cream, so the red reads as a single accent rather than a wash of colour. In a small kitchen, hang it on a quiet pale wall with little else competing — one stoneware bowl or a plant nearby is enough. Avoid red tiling or red appliances on the same sightline.

The brushwork includes a short poem and Hiroshige's signature, typical of his fish series from the 1830s. We've kept the original markings rather than cleaning them out, because they're part of the composition and balance the weight of the fish on the left.

Yes — above a low sideboard or console it reads beautifully, especially against cream or soft white walls. Keep the surrounding styling spare: a pair of stoneware jugs, a linen runner, one candle. Avoid floral table settings or patterned wallpaper, which fight the print's calm cream background.
