About This Art

Watch the pasta ingredients land, then the warm red start doing damage. Tomatoes, basil, olive oil and parmesan, drawn loose and happy on a soft cream background.

Kitchens with a lot of white or pale wood get a personality lift. The red and mustard warm the room up without taking over, and the cream background keeps it light rather than busy.

Best above a sideboard, a coffee station, or on the bit of wall between the cabinets and the dining table. Eye-level works. So does slightly higher if it sits over a counter.

Pairs with pale oak, painted shaker fronts, brass taps, linen tea towels and terracotta tiles. Stoneware in earthy colours also fits.

Don't surround it with more food prints — one is the joke, three is a theme. Let it sit on its own.

Printing, Paper and Frames

Quality you can see (and feel)
Printed using museum-grade giclée technology on thick, matte art paper - no glare, just soft, natural colour that looks beautiful.

The kind of detail and depth that makes people lean in closer. Hand-framed in solid FSC-certified wood. Never cheap MDF or plastic-y veneers.

Won't fade, even in direct sunlight
Premium acrylic glaze with UV blocking keeps colours vibrant for 100+ years. Hang it anywhere - bedroom, hallway, that sunny spot above the sofa - without worry.

Unbox, hang, done
Arrives framed with fixtures already attached. Two minutes with a hammer and your wall goes from blank to "where did you get that?"

Made responsiblyFSC-certified wood and paper. Water-based, vegan inks. Crafted to order, so there's zero waste and zero guilt.

How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the warm red clash with a terracotta or rust-painted kitchen?

Probably, yes. The tomatoes and bottle sit in a similar red-orange family, so on a warm terracotta wall the print loses its punch and starts to muddy. It looks much better on a pale wall — soft cream, off-white, pale grey or pale green — where the red can do its job.

Is the composition busy, or does it have breathing space?

There's plenty of cream background between the ingredients, so it reads as cheerful rather than crowded. Each element sits on its own with space around it. From a metre or two away it looks like a relaxed arrangement of objects rather than a packed pattern.

Does it work above a kitchen counter, or only on a free wall?

Both. The portrait shape suits a narrower wall between cabinets, above a coffee station, or behind a sideboard. Above a counter, hang it a touch higher than usual eye level so it sits above any kettle, toaster or jars without feeling crowded.
