About This Art

Open the curtains at mid-morning; the viridian green will handle the drama. A wall that felt polite suddenly has a meadow rolling up it, ochre sun pooling at the top, jewel-toned blooms scattered like confetti through deep green grasses. The room reads warmer, more lived-in, more confident — like someone with a point of view chose it. Hang it solo above a low sideboard, a reading chair, or a console in a hallway that needs an arrival moment. Pair with rust linen, brass, terracotta pots and unfussy ceramics; it loves natural materials. Avoid surrounding it with other busy florals or competing graphic posters — this one wants room to bloom. An oak frame is our pick on fine-art paper.

Printing, Paper and Frames

Quality you can see (and feel)
Printed using museum-grade giclée technology on thick, matte art paper - no glare, just soft, natural colour that looks beautiful.

The kind of detail and depth that makes people lean in closer. Hand-framed in solid FSC-certified wood. Never cheap MDF or plastic-y veneers.

Won't fade, even in direct sunlight
Premium acrylic glaze with UV blocking keeps colours vibrant for 100+ years. Hang it anywhere - bedroom, hallway, that sunny spot above the sofa - without worry.

Unbox, hang, done
Arrives framed with fixtures already attached. Two minutes with a hammer and your wall goes from blank to "where did you get that?"

Made responsiblyFSC-certified wood and paper. Water-based, vegan inks. Crafted to order, so there's zero waste and zero guilt.

How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the deep green grasses feel too heavy in a small room?

Less than you'd think. The ochre sun across the top half lifts the whole composition, and the small jewel-toned blooms scatter the eye rather than letting the green pool. In a small room, hang it vertically above a low piece of furniture so the lighter top half sits at eye-level — the dark grasses then feel grounding rather than oppressive.

Does the exhibition typography at the bottom dominate the artwork?

No — the Gustav Klimt lettering is set in a tall, slim serif with generous space around it, sitting on a clean off-white band. It reads as a quiet caption to the meadow above rather than a headline. From a normal viewing distance of 1.5–2.5m, the painted meadow does all the talking; the text becomes a refined finishing detail.

Will the ochre and rust blooms clash with a warm wood floor?

The opposite — they're built for it. The ochre sun, terracotta-tinted blooms and deep green grasses share an earthy, warm-undertone family that sits beautifully alongside oak, walnut and rattan. Where it does fight is cool blue-grey schemes with chrome and white-washed wood; in those rooms the warmth of the print will feel disconnected from the floor.
