Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

The pink in this print is a warm, dusty pink — not a cool bubblegum tone — so it sits happily next to terracotta, oak, brass and painted sage cabinets. If your kitchen is strictly cool grey-and-white, it will feel like a louder contrast, which can still work, but go in eyes open.

The 'La Dolce Vita' title sits cleanly above the image and the smaller 'il dolce far niente' line below is more decorative than legible at distance. From across a room you read the painting first and the lettering as a frame around it, which is the intended effect.

Above a dining table it tends to read better than you'd expect — people are eating, drinking and talking, and the print echoes what's happening at the table. If your table is already heavily set with patterned linens and ceramics, size down or choose a calmer wall in the same room.
