All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

• Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  
• We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  
• Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  
• Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Large is the sweet spot. The plate is tall and detailed, and at large size the three birds and the riverbank below read clearly from a normal viewing distance. Above a standard writing desk or console, leave around 15-25cm of wall above the furniture and hang at eye level so the central grey harrier sits just above sightline.

It can. The plate leans warm — russet, dark brown and cream — so in a room built around cool greys, chrome or icy blues, it will pull against the scheme rather than settle into it. It's much happier next to dark wood, sage, warm clay, leather and linen, where the browns and the soft grey middle bird both have something to lean on.

Both. Solo, it makes a strong vertical anchor above a console, desk or narrow hallway wall. In a gallery, it's best as the hero — keep companions smaller and quieter, ideally other antique bird, botanical or map plates in similar warm tones, so the harriers stay the focal point.
