It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Yes — the deep red panels and the small red mat under the cat are a real focal point, not a soft accent. If you want the red to settle, hang the piece on a warm off-white, clay or soft terracotta wall rather than bright white, and pick up the red in one cushion or a stoneware piece so it feels intentional rather than shouty.

It can, but it will become the loudest thing in the room. That is fine if you want a single strong focal point on an otherwise pared-back wall. If your minimalism leans cool — greys, chrome, glass — the warm red and orange will fight it. Warm minimalism with linen, oak and plaster walls is a much easier home for this piece.

Not really. The cat is small in the composition and painted in a loose, modern way rather than a cute illustrated style, so it reads as part of a courtyard scene rather than a pet portrait. People who do not particularly notice cats tend to read it as a Matisse-style window view first, with the cat as a quiet detail.
