About This Art

Most home offices run cold. Grey desk, white walls, a screen throwing blue light at everything after dark. Put this on the wall behind the desk and the gold does what a lamp does, it warms the corner without adding clutter. A white ground keeps it quiet. The old gold lifts off that ground and reads warm even under a cool LED, and a black steel shelf or dark leather chair below it looks sharper for the contrast. In a living room, hang it where the afternoon sun lands and the gold deepens towards the colour of the shirt. Keep other warm colours away. Mustard cushions compete with it, charcoal and plain oak leave it alone. Width is the thing worth getting right. At 60cm across the capacity and coordinates still read from the sofa. On canvas there is no glazing to catch the screen.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Still not sure? Contact our team with a photo of your space and we'll tell you exactly what size will work.

What's your return policy?

If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.

We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.

Will the gold look too bright in a grey office?

No, it is the reason to buy it for a grey room. The old gold is an earthy, slightly muted yellow rather than a lemon, and the white ground around it keeps the overall effect light. Against grey walls and black or dark wood furniture it reads as one warm point in a cool scheme, which is what most home offices lack. Keep other yellows out of the room and it holds its own.

How big does it need to be for the location, capacity and opening year to be readable?

The three details sit in small type beneath the stadium, so size matters more here than with a plain picture. At around 60cm wide the text reads comfortably from a desk chair or a sofa two metres away. Below 40cm it still works as a drawing but the figures become something you lean in for. If the wall is big, go medium rather than small and leave white wall around it.

Does it work next to another stadium print, or is one enough?

Both work. On its own it suits a desk wall or a spot above a sideboard where one clear drawing is all you want. As a pair, hang it level with another ground drawn in the same style, with a gap of about 8cm, and keep both in matching black frames so the different club colours sit together. Rival clubs side by side make a good conversation piece in a shared living room.
