Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

It's heavy on purpose, and that's actually a help in small rooms. The dark ground gives a single point for the eye to land, so a small study or hallway feels more settled rather than busier. Keep the wall colour around it calm and add one warm lamp to wake the gold up after dark.

Very. The cat is built from scrolling leaves, stylised tulips and small rose-heads, with the surrounding border made of the same motifs. It rewards a close look, which is why a medium size at eye-level — above a console or chair — works better than hanging it high on a far wall.

It works in both, but the room needs some warmth. Oak, leather, wool, brass and dark painted woodwork are its natural home. In a fully modern white-and-chrome room it can feel like a stranger, so pair it with at least one warm natural material to bridge the gap.
