About This Art

After the afternoon light shifts, the study suddenly has a pulse. The hare stops being a picture on the wall and starts watching the room back, with the dark floral ground deepening as the lamps come on.

What changes is the temperature. The cream, soft pink and mustard florals warm up cool walls, while the near-black background pulls the eye and steadies a busy corner.

It earns its keep above a writing desk, an old sideboard, or in a hallway where people pause. Eye level works; slightly low and intimate works better.

Pair it with aged oak, linen, brass fittings and ceramics in earthy tones. A reading lamp nearby is the whole trick.

Don't surround it with other busy florals or competing posters — it wants a little quiet wall on either side. Stretched over a solid wooden frame, ready to hang straight out of the box.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Still not sure? Contact our team with a photo of your space and we'll tell you exactly what size will work.

What's your return policy?

If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.

We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.

Will the near-black background look too heavy in a small room?

It reads dense rather than dark, because the florals and the pale hare lift the surface. In a small room it actually helps — the eye lands on the rabbit, the wall feels deeper, and the room ends up cosier rather than smaller. Warm lamplight nearby makes the difference.

Does the poster text show clearly, or is it subtle?

The text is clearly legible — "William Morris" sits across the top, and the exhibition details run below the image in classic poster lettering. If you'd prefer a pure image without typography, this isn't the right piece; the poster format is part of the look.

Is the rabbit centred, or does the composition pull to one side?

The hare is centred and faces straight out, which makes the piece easy to hang above symmetrical furniture like a console, desk or headboard. The florals fill the surround evenly, so it doesn't fight a centred arrangement.
