About This Art

There's a reason Alphonse Mucha kept returning to the dreaming, long-haired figure; rooms still respond. The soft cream, warm beige and dusty peach calm a busy wall without going flat, and the curling linework gives a quiet room something to look at. Hang it where you slow down — beside a dressing table, above a small console in the hallway, or on a bedroom wall where morning light can catch the paler tones. It sits beautifully with linen, velvet, aged brass and warm wood. Avoid stacking it next to loud graphic posters or high-chroma colour-block art; this piece wants room to breathe. Printed on premium fine-art paper, with the option to add a real wood frame.

Printing, Paper and Frames

Quality you can see (and feel)
Printed using museum-grade giclée technology on thick, matte art paper - no glare, just soft, natural colour that looks beautiful.

The kind of detail and depth that makes people lean in closer. Hand-framed in solid FSC-certified wood. Never cheap MDF or plastic-y veneers.

Won't fade, even in direct sunlight
Premium acrylic glaze with UV blocking keeps colours vibrant for 100+ years. Hang it anywhere - bedroom, hallway, that sunny spot above the sofa - without worry.

Unbox, hang, done
Arrives framed with fixtures already attached. Two minutes with a hammer and your wall goes from blank to "where did you get that?"

Made responsiblyFSC-certified wood and paper. Water-based, vegan inks. Crafted to order, so there's zero waste and zero guilt.

How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the warm cream and peach tones suit a cooler grey room?

It can work, but the warm cream and dusty peach will read as a deliberate warm accent rather than blending in. If your walls are cool grey and your fittings are chrome, expect the print to stand out. Pair it with a touch of warm metal — aged brass or antique gold — and a linen or velvet textile in a soft neutral to bridge the temperatures.

Is the composition busy or calm on the wall?

It sits in the middle. The figure and flowing gown are calm and pale, while the decorative roundel and curling hair add detail. From a normal viewing distance the overall impression is soft and romantic rather than fussy. Give it a little breathing room on the wall and keep nearby surfaces fairly simple so the linework can carry the eye.

Does it work above a bed or only above smaller furniture?

It works above both. The tall portrait shape suits a bed headboard, a console or a dressing table equally well. Above a bed, size up so the print fills roughly two-thirds of the headboard width. Above a console or dressing table, leave around 15 to 20 cm between the top of the furniture and the bottom of the frame.
