About This Art

Somewhere between Henri Rousseau and maximalist illustration, this botanical study refuses to behave. Giant leaves striped in hot pink, blue, yellow and white push up out of a real garden, with dahlias crowding the bottom edge. Put it on a plain wall and the whole room wakes up — you get colour without repainting anything. It suits a living room chimney breast, a hallway that gets no natural interest, or a bright landing you walk past daily. Keep the furniture calm around it: pale wood, linen, cream stoneware, one plant. Skip busy wallpaper, other loud florals or a shelf of clutter nearby — it needs clear space either side to land properly. As a canvas the surface is matt, so bright rooms and spotlights stay glare-free.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Still not sure? Contact our team with a photo of your space and we'll tell you exactly what size will work.

What's your return policy?

If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.

We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.

Will this be too much colour for a small hallway?

In a small hallway it reads as a feature rather than clutter, as long as it is the only thing on that wall. Keep the paintwork plain, choose a large size so the leaf shapes stay clear, and leave the opposite wall empty. Hallways are short-stay spaces, so bright colour tends to feel welcoming rather than tiring.

Are the leaves really painted, or is it a digital effect?

It reads as a real garden scene with the giant elephant-ear leaves painted in solid blocks of pink, blue, yellow and white. That mix is the point: the photographic detail in the dahlias and dry grass at the base grounds the colour, so it feels like something that actually exists rather than a flat graphic.

What wall colour works behind it?

Plain and pale is safest — white, off-white, soft grey or a chalky plaster tone all let the pink and blue sit forward. A deep green or inky navy wall also works if you want drama, since the dark leaves link into it. Avoid warm terracotta or mustard walls, which fight the pink.
